چکیده
本稿では,事例に基づく推論 (Case-Based Reasoning: CBR)の立場を取って,長期的な創造的問題 解決とデザイン活動に影響する記憶の問題について調査する.これは,詳細に記録された例・Alexander Graham Bellによる電話の発明に基づき,長期の創造的デザインにおいて繰り返し現れた,Bellのメカニ ズムの推論と理解について要約する.事例に基づくデザインに対し,メカニズムを理解することは,デザ インの制約と類推的評価の類推的予想の元であるとみなされる.しかし,既に理解されたデザインは,背 後ではアクティブであり,ある機会に保留されたデザインの問題を満たす.新しいメカニズムは,計算機 モデル ALEC で統合される.これは,事例に基づくデザインにおいて,ある創造的な振る舞いを説明す る. 1. ALECは Alexander G. Bellのニックネームだったが,偶然にも Analogical Learning by Explaining Casesの頭 文字を取った略語でもある
